The Philadelphia Icon poster features One Liberty Place, a 61-story skyscraper located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. When it was finished, it was the tallest skyscraper in the city. Amid controversy, the construction of the tower broke a gentlemen’s agreement stating that no building could be taller than City Hall. This sparked a boom in skyscraper construction in the city and helped define the skyline that we know today.
One Liberty Place was designed by Helmut Jahn, and construction was completed in 1987.
